The garden design included yorkstone paving and steps, bathstone terraces, balustrades, obelisks and volutes, semi-mature trees 7–11 m high, topiary and hedging, herbaceous borders, parterres, aquatic planting, fountain, roof gardens, irrigation, lighting, works to river.

The client required a prestigious setting to this large country house, with aesthetics and security of primary importance.

In key locations, large evergreen plant material was required to achieve the necessary screening. One hundred and twenty semi-mature trees were planted in an eight-week period. Liaison with stone masons, irrigation and decorative lighting specialists, and security advisors, were also involved.
